HOW MIGHT WE USE REGENERATIVE DESIGN?
The reciprocity of soil, soul and society: the heart of developing regenerative activities, could be a starting point!
We can use design methodes to look at a 'wicked problems' in the lens of regeneration, that creates regenerative activities based on the reciprocity between land and society, and create activities that strengthen the human-nature relationship.
Let's use tourism sector as a case here!
How might we develop new frontiers in tourism stakeholder landscape with implications for regenerative tourism futures?
Can it be the conceptions of tourism by proposing a shift in stakeholder roles from extraction to generating new life to survive, thrive and evolve?
Tourism actors' develop regenerative activities anchored in the reciprocity of nature and humans directed at bringing well-being for all living beings?
What I understand, it is challenging for small tourism ecocentric businesses to co-create regenerative tourism activities within a capitalocentric system.
Therefor we can co-create regenerative tourism activities and develop of regenerative activities rooted in the reciprocity of nature and people aimed at bringing well-being to all living beings.
So that land, soul and community are at the heart of the development of regenerative tourism activities.
As designers we can synthesis knowledge and co-create a conceptual framework and its applications and concept of living system design thinking.
This could guide tourism stakeholders who seek to adopt regenerative tourism approaches.
Regenerative tourism will be informed by living systems' design thinking and contribute to a healthy evolution of social-ecological systems.
From extraction to generating new life to survive, thrive and evolve.
